Ever heard the phrase, “Good guys finish last?” It means that kind or agreeable people often lose out in competition to more assertive or ruthless individuals. The phrase suggests being too accommodating or passive leads to being overlooked, while the phrase itself highlights a cynical view that being genuinely decent isn't enough to win and the work good people do is often forgotten.

Sometimes it may appear that the good you’re doing is overlooked. You may feel unappreciated, taken advantage of, or that your good deeds go forgotten, but just know that God won’t forget. He sees your work and labor of love that you’ve shown towards others in His name. Don’t change who you are because the world doesn’t accept you. Christ has accepted you! Keep the faith. Keep doing God’s work. And remember that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
Love with the love of Christ
Heavenly Father, thank You for being just and not forgetting my work and labor of love. I will continue to do Your will by ministering to others and showing them love in Your name. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
