I had a horrible boss once. He would assign nearly impossible tasks to me and “laterally” promote me to problem areas to fix only to uproot me and plant me in the next problem area. I complained every day. I prayed for a new job, but received no answer. I finally decided to change my prayer and become content. That’s when the perfect job found me! And guess what? Every problem area that horrible boss placed me in was the exact experience I needed for my new job.

There may be some things happening in your life today that aren’t favorable or desirable, but don’t lose hope. God is always several steps ahead of you. He can use anyone and any thing to get you to your destiny. And when that moment is revealed to you, you will have a new testimony that will help others see Jesus in their situations. Change how you see the problem in front of you. Know that God is doing something in you that will further the gospel of Jesus Christ to others.
It’s always for a reason
Heavenly Father, thank You for using me to further the gospel of Jesus Christ. I know everything You do in my life is for a reason and always has purpose. Until You reveal it to me, I will remain content and obedient to Your Word. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
