Ever ask yourself, “What’s it all for?” You work forty-plus hours a week at a job you don’t even like. You go out of your way to be nice to people who aren’t ever kind to you. Every time your phone vibrates it’s someone asking for something and never asking how can they help you. And sometimes you just stop and ask yourself, “What am I doing this for?!”

I’ve been there several times. And I have to remind myself it’s not “what” I’m doing it for, but “Who” I’m doing it for. Whatever you do, don’t do it for the person or people you see in front of you, but do it for Jesus! You represent Christ on your job, at home, and in your community. If your feel unappreciated on your job, home, or in your community, remember, God appreciates you. And when you work with all your heart for Christ’s sake, that’s when God can bless you with the desires of your heart.
Do it for Jesus
Heavenly Father, whatever I do, I’m going to do it with all my heart and do it for You. When I don’t feel appreciated, I can find peace and power in knowing You appreciate me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
