You can tell what decade impressed them most by their choice of clothing or the catch phrases they use. If you still have oversized jeans and some Jodeci boots in your closet, I could easily determine you were a ‘90’s baby or if you know what Rockports are, chances are, you’re from Detroit.

But how do people know that you are a disciple of Christ? Jesus says everyone will know that you are His disciples if you have love for one another. The world needs to experience the love of Christ through you. An uplifting word of encouragement, helping someone that may not be able to return the favor, or remaining positive in a negative environment are a few ways people will recognize Christ’s love through you. “There’s something different about you” is one of the most rewarding comments a disciple of Christ can receive. Let them know that you’re a disciple of Jesus.

Actions speak louder

Heavenly Father, I will show everyone the love of Christ because I am a disciple of Jesus. Thank You for the opportunity to represent You and love everyone as You have loved me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
