Ever heard the saying, “If you want to make God laugh, tell Him your plans?” For years, the Apostle Paul wanted to travel to Rome to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ, but God had other plans for him. God’s plan gave Paul ample opportunities to minister to those would needed Christ before making it to Rome. And where Jesus directed, Paul went. He was obedient to Jesus’ plan for him and ministered where Christ directed.

Wherever Jesus has you right now, it’s with purpose. It’s not a dead-end job. It’s an opportunity to minister. It’s not about getting along with everyone in your church. It’s an opportunity to minister. You never know who God has placed on your path that He wants you to assist in changing their life. But if you only focus on your plan, and not God’s plan, chances are you’ll never find out.

Heavenly Father, I want my plans to align with Your plans for me. Thank You for the path You’ve predestined for me and all the blessings You’ve planned for me along the way. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
