There have been days that I feel the world is against me. People won’t cooperate, things aren’t working out the way I planned, and it just seems that things are hard for no reason at all. At this point, I used to contemplate giving up and throwing in the towel, but because of my trust in the Lord I look at things a bit differently today.

Today, I realize that the Lord has a purpose for everything. He isn’t a “waste-your-time” God. He can use everything to fulfill His purpose. I now know that it doesn’t matter about the evil plans a person has in their heart for me because I know that the Lord’s purpose will prevail. If the world is against me, I must be doing something right, because the world was (is) also against Christ – so I’m in good company! God won’t waste your time. Whatever He allows you to experience has purpose. Have faith and trust in the Lord His purpose will prevail.
Hang in there
Heavenly Father, I trust in You and Your plan for me. I know the enemy has other plans for me, but I know that it is Your purpose that will prevail. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
