Paul is found “going through” in today’s scripture. He was given a thorn in the side, something that caused him mental and maybe physical discomfort. He writes that he considered it a “messenger of Satan to buffet” him – slow him down, hinder his progress, or keep him in his place. He prayed three times asking Jesus to remove the thorn, but God replied, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” From there, Paul’s attitude changed.
