Keep Walking

Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us.
— EPHESIANS 3:20 (NIV)

As kids, my mom made sure to keep her three boys busy. I was on the usher board, in the young people’s choir, after school programs throughout the week, participated in youth ministry Friday nights, pre-college programs Saturday mornings, you name it! At the time, I didn’t realize what it was all for until the one day I found myself in trouble. My mom compiled all my awards and activities into a packet and presented to the judge. The judge reviewed it and asked me, “Am I ever going to see you in here again?” I said, “No, Sir!” Case dismissed. Record expunged.

God has allowed you to experience, accomplish and achieve things in life that you probably don’t recognize as blessings. You may think it’s normal, luck of the draw or you’re just doing things you need to in order to get to the next level.  And while you’re busy doing things, Jesus is busy too. He’s working on exceeding your expectations. He’s working on increasing you, multiplying you and preparing you for a future you haven’t realized yet. There’s a power that is at work inside of you. What you’re doing, what you’re facing, it’s for a reason. Keep walking in faith until the Holy Spirit reveals it to you.

Bless me indeed
