“Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.”
Headlines and news outlets are doing their best to sell their “End of the world as we know it” theory. Regretfully, I have to admit, it’s somewhat working. Several people are denouncing the president-elect with the popular hashtag of #NotMyPresident, while others have threatened to seek residence in Canada. But be of good cheer, friend. The same God in Canada is the same God here.
I believe God and that what He has said shall be will be. It doesn’t matter who won the presidential election or local elections, God’s plan and agenda hasn’t changed for you. The promises God made to you are still ever present. You’re still more than a conqueror. You can still do all things through Christ because He strengthens you. Scripture says many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers you from them all. So, instead of stressing, join me in believing God is able to do just what He said He would do.
Don’t give up on God…
