God’s intent was never to tell you how wrong or bad you are, but to love you, give you salvation, and an example of how to live life. 

When you set aside the sin that is holding you back from achieving the life God planned for you, it’s important that you have people around you that will remind you of God’s word, support you, and are heading in a direction of godly living as well. 

When you follow Christ’s agenda and His way of doing things, He will give you the desires of your heart. God doesn’t want you to focus on your wish list. He wants you to focus on His wish list.
