The next time you find yourself in an uncomfortable environment, remember that you are on a mission for Christ to shine His light in this dark world.

God gave each of us a spiritual gift to grow the body of Christ. Without you, a very important piece is missing. Allow Christ to use you. 

Are you having trouble forgiving yourself for your past? Are you holding yourself captive from obtaining a goal in life? Have you freed yourself enough to hear the voice of God?

When family turns their backs on you, or when people you trusted no longer accept you, forgive them and remember that no one is perfect.

As Christians we all have different gifts and abilities, different ways we can add salt to the earth. 

When you were born, God equipped you with everything you were going to need to navigate this crazy world of ours. 

These occurrences don’t happen by coincidence—you make them happen! Unbelievable, right?  Not really. 

God is always talking to us. We, however, may not always be at a place in our lives where we can hear Him.

God’s plan is perfect and He will place people in your life to help you complete His plan. You only need to believe and start.

Simply put, you have something the enemy wants to take from you. In your possession is a gift from God so great that will change not only your life, but also the life of a family member, a friend, your church, your workplace, your community, or even the world.

When God places something on your heart, He has already made a way for you to do it. You may not have the resources or know the right people, but when you take the first step in faith God will orchestrate the rest.

“When you’re doing your assignment (from God), you can go through things that others cannot.” That was a quote from a sermon my pastor preached this past Sunday. 

We have an undefeated champion fighting for us. He’s never lost a battle. Trust Jesus to fight your battles as you continue to focus on His plan for your life. 

I want to challenge you today. Do something you know is beyond your own strength or ability. 

What if I told you that your thoughts made what you feared most to happen? When we focus on negative things, we speak them into our lives and become defeated. 

How am I supposed to pray all day? I have to work. I have to do homework with the kids. I have errands to run. People to talk to. Things to do!

You may have a checkered past or made some questionable decisions before, but it’s never too late for you to make the decision to change not only your life for the better, but those in it as well.

Today is your day to obtain God’s goodness. He never intended for you to wait until death to find rest, peace, or glory. 

Jesus has given His friends keys to his home as well. These keys aren’t used to unlock doors to houses or apartments. These keys are to unlock the many blessings Jesus has in store for us.

When God created you, He created you for a specific purpose in life. He also gave you a unique gift to accomplish this purpose. Life, nevertheless, can at times prove to be trying. You may witness the success of others your age and wonder, “When is it going to be my time.”
